Environment In Texas & Finland
The environment in Texas various
with the different climates there. The physical state of Texas is split into
four parts, the Great Plains, The great rolling plains/ north central plains, Gulf
Coastal Plains, and Basin and Range province. Texas occupies about 7 percent of
the total water and land area of the United States. The Geographic center of
Texas is about 15 miles northeast of Brady in northern McCulloch County. In Texas
they have foundations where people can go on their websites and learn how to
conserve water, and they can also learn how to take care of the environment around
them. The senators their drafted, “the house ways & Means and Energy & commerce
committee’s.” Through this act the people will be able to make a change based
off of the environment that they are living in, and what needs to be fixed.
Rivers and groundwater in Finland
have been polluted due to fertilizer from agriculture industry and wood-
processing which is higher than most European countries. With the Nature
conservation act of 1923, Nature preserves could be established as needed and
various laws were passed concerning purity of water, pesticide control and
waste management. The Ministry of environment was formed which departments concerned
specifically with conservation of the environment, nature and housing. Finland
still lacks a satisfactory environment plan, but still today Finland is known
for its environmental improvements. With technological advancements in
monitoring and measuring pollutants in water and air, they later turned things
around.
